For decades, our teams have designed and manufactured steering systems under the JTEKT brand. Following the sale of our business to a new shareholder, we continue this industrial journey under our own name: Acurion.
This name carries the promise of our craft: accuracy at the heart of every steering system, and the continuity of a know-how recognised for years.

Located at our French sites, our R&D centre brings together the very best of Acurion's expertise in Europe, including mechanic & electronic design, hardware design, software development and system architecture.
In addition, the team is supported by different on-site services such as our laboratories, our prototyping workshop and our vehicle test tracks.

Our small and compact P-EPS systems deliver industry-leading safety, comfort and environmental performances.
Because the assist function of the DP-EPS system is separated from the steering wheel axle, the degree of freedom of installation is enhanced and, together with an optimum strength design, a large output is realised, without sacrificing performance.
The C-EPS was introduced in 1988 as the very first ‘EPS’ system in the world.
The power-assist unit is located on the steering column which makes it ideal for compact vehicles.
By removing the mechanical connection between the steering wheel and tires, our steer-by-wire systems offer an enhanced driving experience while providing the foundational technology for autonomous driving.
Fully redundant backup systems ensure safety.
As specialists in steel shafts for power transmission, we have extensive expertise in transforming tubes through flow forming, cold drawing, and forging. Our strengths lie in optimizing weight and surface hardness while ensuring compliance with torque and durability requirements.
Leveraging our in-house R&D development center, we design custom, highly integrated, high-efficiency power modules.
